One of the things I was reminded of immediately on our return, was the volume of traffic. I had nearly forgotten how bad it was, especially after being spoilt having a summer of cruising around Sweden, in the sunshine, with the roof down on the car. Not something I would want to do here!
As there are constant traffic jams in all parts of the city, the locals prefer to use motorbikes or scooters.
You will find them squeezing their way into any gaps in the traffic they can find.

Sadly, safety does not seem to be of much importance.
It is not uncommon to see whole families on one scooter with only the driver wearing a helmet.

However, as much as these modes of transport will get you through the traffic quicker, I think we will probably keep to the safety of our car because when it rains we all travel at the same speed, 0 kmh.
